Client Relationship Manager (HR outsourcing and tech)
North West or Yorks with remote working option
£50,000 + bonus
Want to be part of something big?
* Yes, you'll love developing relationships with your clients.
* Of course you'll get a buzz from identifying commercial opportunities.
* Naturally, there's a fantastic team to work with, a genuine proposition backing you up and a grown-up, flexible attitude to work.
* But the reason that this role is worth a look, right now, is because of where the company is in its growth journey and what that means in terms of the opportunity for you to have a real impact.
You will be working for a major HR outsourcing and consultancy business that has an enviable track record, a fantastic client base and, importantly, is already well into a programme of significant, planned, growth. You will support the commercial development of a small portfolio of existing, strategically important, client accounts (don't worry, new business is managed elsewhere!) and will do so by holding the commercial relationship with the clients directly, identifying opportunities to solve client problems (and generate additional revenue).
Over the past year the company (backed by private equity) has: had a change in leadership, developed their proposition and reviewed their approach to the market and how they manage their client accounts. This has been built on solid foundations of a successful organisation with a strong legacy, but with a clear drive to accelerate growth in a very meaningful way. This means that from day one, you will be given a solid group of client accounts to develop at a time when there is a focus (and investment) on building these relationships (i.e. you'll be resourced to deliver what you need to do).
We are looking for someone that has a solid understanding of HR outsourcing, this could be either on the sell or buy side (e.g. it would be a fantastic role for someone looking to get more variety in their life by moving from an in-house role as well as someone with experience of managing accounts as the supplier). You must understand what HR looks like in large, complex businesses and be able to demonstrate a highly commercial mindset and ability to develop relationships. Strong presentation skills are a prerequisite and the ability to charm, influence, befriend and consult with senior HR leaders will be needed.
