Well, continued growth has seen this business almost double in headcount to over 5,000 people this year. As the business evolves rapidly so must the central enabling functions that provide essential business support. To that end new shared services teams are being created, based in Stockport. So it is an exciting and transformational time, perhaps ideal to apply your HR Shared Service experience to creating and leading an effective and customer focused HR Shared Service function. With a philosophy of continuous improvement you'll seek to drive best practice and the maximisation of resources to optimise service to key stakeholders across the group.
It's a growing environment so there will always be new goals to reach and opportunities to take. One of which could be to broaden the role from HR Shared Service management to a wider role providing HR Business Partner support to the other enabling functions service centre leaders that will be based in Stockport.
Ideally, you'll bring HR Shared Service Management experience combined with commercial generalist HR exposure, backed up by CIPD qualification or equivalent. Revelling in change and ambiguity, possessing strong resilience, you'll love creating and possess a strong vision of what good looks like in terms of HR service (so good on Process Improvement), combined with a pragmatism and can-do attitude that drives delivery.
