Head of Learning and Development

This is a key HR leadership role within a significant multi-site services business experiencing a period of rapid evolution and dynamic change.
Reporting to the HR Director you will set the company strategy for Learning and Development and establish the frameworks for Performance Management. This is not a business as usual role as there is a huge amount to do in the design and delivery of the talent management framework for the business to track all activities linked to the optimum performance of HIPO and successors across the company structure. You will take the lead in planning and delivery of all the organisation wide training initiatives for professional, managerial and apprentice initiatives nationally. In addition to sourcing and delivering management and leadership development programmes you will design and develop the company's e-learning capability.
We are looking for a forward thinking individual with knowledge and experience of talent management frameworks and identifying high potential and succession tools and interventions. You will have experience of designing training programmes and managing at team of 5. Ability to prepare and present at board level are essential. As well as having a creative and innovative approach, you will be highly motivational with energy and drive.
