This is an exciting opportunity to lead training and development in one of the UK's fastest growing and innovative food businesses.
Since setting up the business in 1996, our client has raised the bar for fresh, as delicious as you could cook at home, prepared food. With more than 40 delicious dishes available in their range throughout the UK and several years of double digit growth - they have a turnover of more than £60m and ambitious plans for the future.
Having recently opened a new kitchen at Dulcote Quarry, near Wells in Somerset to complement their already established kitchen in north west London - and now have more than 400 people in their team.
People and training are at the heart of their business - because of this they are now looking for an energetic, passionate and creative Learning and Development Manager to help take them to the next level. This is a newly created role, leading a team of three and reporting directly to the Head of People.
You will be charged with the creation and delivery of their people development strategy to enable everyone in the team to grow and fulfil their potential. You'll also play a key role in team and individual development and support the leadership team in creating a culture where feedback and personal development is at the fore. You will need to be able to inspire and co-ordinate initiatives across the business.
An experienced Learning and Development Manager you'll need to demonstrate a track record of embedding development programs that engage and excite people. It goes without saying you'll be a confident communicator, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a skilled coach.
