Senior Strategic HR Business Partner - progressing to Head of HR
£80,000 + car allowance + bonus + excellent benefits

Working as part of a sophisticated, high calibre, highly respected HR team, this is an opportunity to be pivotal in a major change programme that will create new working cultures and talent management strategies.
You will join the business as a Senior Talent Partner in a high profile, strategic role, supporting senior stakeholders across a large cluster of stores. With extensive experience in Talent Management, you will create the strategies required to ensure your region has the right level of resource, skills, experience and succession in place.
You will be the driving force behind the Talent Agenda, identifying capability gaps, creating detailed and 'diversity rich' succession plans, working with leaders to identify high value roles, future leaders and high potentials. You will have a close eye on external markets, ensuring you have your finger on the pulse of current and future trends that will impact your ability to attract and retain the skills and experience required to deliver commercial objectives.
Within 12 months you will then have the opportunity to step up into a sizeable Head of HR role, responsible for a large, regional population, leading a team of Senior Talent Partners and acting as a true partner to senior stakeholders.
It is impossible to overstate the scale of the challenge in implementing this change programme - you need to be highly credible, skilfully influential, and extremely resilient in not just creating a new culture, but in being the guardian of the 'new world' culture.
To apply, you will have worked as a strategic HR leader in a business that is at the cutting edge of HR practice. With experience of developing and executing strategic talent plans, you will be highly engaging and be able to demonstrate influencing and coaching at a senior level. You will have a broad knowledge of HR principles, gained within a business of scale, with a sophisticated HR offering. You will be highly analytical, with the agility to operate across a wide region and manage remotely. You will be an exceptional communicator and leader, creative, curious, and be able to operate at pace. You do not need to have operated in the retail space (and ideally you will be from outside the industry), but having a passion for delivering outstanding customer experience is essential.
