This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful media business in a newly created number 2 role reporting to the UK HR Director.

The Head of HR will lead HR operations supported by small teams of HR Business Partners and HR Coordinators. The business has recently made a significant acquisition, which whilst successful has created an opportunity to shape the future merged culture and working practices and clearly HR will play a key role within this. You will play a critical role in understanding how to shape and land key projects to drive forward the HR agenda, hence you must be willing to “roll your sleeves up” and work closely with the business and your team to ensure key initiatives are scoped, proposals created and plan to implement delivered. The environment is one of around a 1,000 employees and does not have significant HR centres of expertise to support on the design of majors initiatives offering therefore real scope for breadth of involvement but also a reliance on your own and your direct teams ability to research, source and deliver appropriate solutions.

Candidates should highly engaging HR professionals who have successfully built partnership relationships in business environments populated by intelligent but challenging stakeholders. You are likely to be a Head of HR or an aspiring experienced Business Partner looking for a step up. Candidates should have broad generalist HR knowledge, encompassing change, talent, reward and engagement. An appreciation of the digital market space would also be an advantage.
