Interim HR Director (8/9 months)

As HR Director, you will act as coach & confident, a 'trusted advisor' to the recently appointed MD and the leadership team of the consumer division. You will be able to talk the language of business and add insight and value to discussions outside of your core HR expertise.
You will build excellent close working relationships, generate trust and be capable of influencing across all levels of the organisation from senior leaders to entry level Beauty Advisors.
You will need to be able to balance the strategic with the operational. Working with the Division leadership team, you will develop and deliver a people strategy and plan that closely aligns with the wider business strategy including: Talent Management, Organisational Design, Cultural Change, Headcount & Salary Cost Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Reward, building future capabilities through learning, developing stronger People Management/Leadership
You will provide a pro-active and responsive HR customer service to the client group, ensuring successful and continuous delivery of HR related services to the business and where necessary, roll up your sleeves to make sure things get done on time and effectively.
You will inspire and motivate the HR team with a focus on coaching, giving regular feedback and enabling co-operation.
You will set clear performance expectations and holds individuals accountable to these standards.
You will lead on ad hoc HR-driven projects both locally and in contributing to the wider International and Global HR agenda.
This is a broad and challenging remit and you'll be keen to evidence the difference and value you've added by driving 'new' or significant change. Whilst your approach is proactive and adaptable, you are resilient and will only settle for what's best whilst retaining your sense of humour.
